How to watch Luca in the UK and US

Ready to cry over a good Pixar movie? Luca is the next flick in line from the famous animation studio, following on from the Christmas release, Soul.

Set in a seaside town in the Italian Riviera, Luca is a coming-of-age film all about a boy who shares his life adventures with his best friend. However, he’s harbouring a big secret – he’s actually a sea monster from another land.

Will Luca release in cinemas?

Yes – lockdowns have now started to lift in both the UK and US, which means that cinemas have now reopened for screenings.

Pre-orders for tickets aren’t yet live, but UK readers will be able to purchase them from the likes of Vue, Cineworld, Odeon, The Everyman, Empire, and Showcase. Those in the US will be able to buy them from AMC, Fandango and Atom Tickets.

However, you don’t have to go the cinema to watch Luca – you can also do so at home.

Will Luca release on Disney Plus?
