How to watch the Champions League final for free

The Champions League final is here. After nine months of competition and hundreds of matches involving the very best teams in Europe, only two remain.

For the second time in four years, they’re both English sides. Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are aiming to win the competition for the first time since 2012, while Man City are making their first ever appearance in a European final.

When is the Champions League final?

The Champions League final will take place on Saturday 29 May at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal. The game was originally due to be played in Turkey, but was moved due to coronavirus travel restrictions.

How to watch the Champions League final free in the UK

BT Sport has exclusive rights to the Champions League in the UK, so you usually need an active subscription in order to start watching.
